deadsnake
Hello there, I am trying to do a full brake job on my 05 legacy GT Limited ( I guess its limited, according to research if it has leather seats, power front seat, moon roof etc it makes it a limited). I found "CENTRIC" rotors for the rear on amazon, but when I try to search for any fronts, they all exclude the limited version... any thoughts? Notes: Front Premium Rotor, I - LIMITED (EXC GT LIMITED) is what I get when I search them. KCwagon
All the LGT brakes are the same 05-09, including Spec B, non-limited and Limited. I am not sure why they excluded limited in the fitment guide.

legacy360
Look here, these are the proper part #'s for Centric. You can see the difference's between GT and 2.5i models. http://centriccatalog.com/Inquiry/AppResult.aspx?id=WEB_DISC&y=2005&m=13&mm=
deadsnake
Perfect thank you! Found both, now for pads, what do you recommend for daily use?
jasejase
On many applications, the stock rotors are a decent choice. I believe (IIRC), the napa gold's are reman'd oem parts. May be cheaper.
deadsnake
Set of 4 for centric will run me 180$, I am okay with that, I just need some pads now.
jasejase
yep! The aftermarkets are generally cheaper. Again OEm pads produce the least amount of dust (more or less). When I go with pads, I will likely go stoptech street performance
deadsnake
Those are a tad pricey, I was looking at these [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Akebono-ACT929-ProACT-Ultra-Premium-Ceramic/dp/B000CGP13I/ref=au_pf_ss_1?ie=UTF8&Make=Subaru%7C13&Model=Legacy%7C64&Year=2005%7C2005&carId=002&n=15684181&s=automotive]Amazon.com: Akebono ACT929 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set: Automotive[/ame] But again why does it say excludes limited? bluesuby
Those are a tad pricey, I was looking at these Amazon.com: Akebono ACT929 ProACT Ultra-Premium Ceramic Brake Pad Set: Automotive But again why does it say excludes limited? As previously stated, the "limited" car is mechanically the same as other GTs, save for electric seats, leather and sunroof. The difference between GTs and the i versions is that GTs have larger brakes. The Akebono ceramics are pretty good. Quiet, stop well enough, and wear well. With 60,000 on a set, there's enough pad to last me through the Winter and posibly until next Fall.
deadsnake
Ahh okay, so just ignore the fact that it says excludes GT limited?
deadsnake
I am just reading so much conflicting info from all these parts stores. I don't even know whats what with the pads!

Those are for non-turbo. All the reviews say 2.5i, outback, etc.. .No LGT.
jasejase
There is a 2.5i limited, and a 2.5gt limited. The 'limited package' is a trim package for both, adding no performance parts. You need brakes that fit a 05-09 Legacy GT (doesn't matter if its a limited package, spec.b, or regular GT)
