EPLegacyGT
Hey, I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this high pitch squeek or squeal when releasing the clutch pedal. The sound only comes after a damp day or after letting it sit in the rain overnight. I will be changing my tranny and diff oil soon with subaru extra-s. Thanks in advance. gotsflat4love
I have this happen a couple of times a week. If you search squeeky clutch there is a bunch of stuff about it. Just another Subaru quirk I guess. Mine does it when it's cold (So Cal cold), but quits once warm.
EPLegacyGT
Yeah same here. I did some research and all that comes up is the TOB. I didn't think it was that serious. Ill swap oils and hope for the best.
Max Capacity
Most likely the TOB, mine has been doing it for years, until the TSK3 kit or whatever it is called was installed 3 day's ago. TOB hasn't made the noise yet. http://www.fredbeansparts.com/index.php/drivetrain-transmission/subaru-legacy-gt-tranquil-tsk3-sleeve-kit.html 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs.
