Sooo..... Cylinder gone.

Recommended Posts

99,500 thousand kilometers. Basically a hair away from 60,000 miles. Engine is leaking oil everywhere. New cylinder and a whole bunch of gaskets need to be ordered everything is on warranty. Subaru Dealer cannot give me a replacement because I am not 25. Personally, I believe that Subaru Canada should then foot the bill for a rental car. What do you all think?

I ran into the issue of them not wanting to give me a loaner when I was under 25, but they really didnt have a choice. The problem they face is that their insurance wont cover them, but you "should" be able to show that you have insurance for you, which should (in most cases) cover the loaner.

But yea, if they cant give you the loaner, they need to get you a car, especially if its still warranty work.

If I pass you on the right, I'm flipping you off.

I'm under 25 too. I've gotten warranty work a few times. Every time I've gotten either a loaner or a rental (one dealer gives me free rental, another gives me a loaner). Even if it was just for an afternoon.
