Morehawk
Anyone has info about the next spec b if or when they are coming out ???
kenzo
I wish - but there have been no announcements regarding a new Spec.B AFAIK. I'd be very likely to buy one if it were offered.
Irimis
I'd bet you will not see any special legacy. They had so much trouble selling the old Spec B's. I bought my 08 2 months before the 10's came out. I would not be surprised if the turbo legacy goes not make it past 5th gen.
Obsessotron
Its sad really because the 5th gen GT has gotten a bit softer and it would be nice if they made a special one. I really hope they don't do away with the GT, I have seen a fair amount of them on the road.
Sydtron
If it sold well, it would still be available. Maybe a last hurrah before the 5th gens turn into the 6th gens but don't expect it. Look at the Mazdaspeed3 -- normally Mazdaspeeds were just special editions but that one sold enough to justify being a normal production model. nospmoht04
Hmm, maybe I'll have to hang onto my spec.b. It'll be a classic someday.
TooBigToFit
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the closest thing to a 5th gen Spec.B currently out is the Legacy GT tS?

ehsnils
Looking at what the differences are - you can order the parts and update your LGT. But the real difference would be wheels and suspension, the rest is just cosmetics.
BAC5.2
No one would buy it. Gelacy
I'd buy a turbocharged 4th generation Subaru Outback but there's only the naturally aspirated 2.5's and 3.6's.

Gelacy
Ever hear of the Outback XT? Of course. But I'm talking about the fourth generation Subaru Outback, not the third generation.

EvoFire
^ where did you find that? Well we know its not the states, not Canada, and no Australia Since it doesn't offer the option of select another language settings, chances are its probably a predominately English speaking country. EDIT: Looks like its the New Zealand guys, all their GT's are Spec B's, and they can get Spec B trim for the 2.5i too! Not to mention a "Euro Spec" Boxer diesel.... DAMNIT! exbagboy
Of course. But I'm talking about the fourth generation Subaru Outback, not the third generation. That IS the 4th gen outback, the new 5th gens don't have a XT Outback.
exbagboy
I see Bilstein suspension, wonder if it has a rear LSD.
BAC5.2
That IS the 4th gen outback, the new 5th gens don't have a XT Outback. Unfortunately, you are confused. The 4th gen Legacy is the 3rd gen Outback. The Outback wasn't released until the Legacy was on it's second generation (1995 in the US). So the Outback "generations" are technically one behind the Legacy. There is no 5th gen Outback. Semantics, I know.
