Murphdaddy Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 I just bought some used oz superleggera's 17x7 +45 wrapped in goodyear eagle f1's 215/45/17 with 50-60% tread left. I put them on my car last night replacing the crap stock re92's and I noticed that they make a lot of road noise. I expected this reading reviews of the tire, but when I'm around 40mph or over ~95 the noise gets really loud. Also when I am braking and I'm going between 28-20mph there is more noise and extra vibration in the brake pedal. Is this normal or am I possibly causing damage to my car? dudeondacouch Posted April 22, 2010 Share Posted April 22, 2010 sounds like they may have some uneven wear from the previous owner and/or are out of balance. also, are they directional and did you ensure they're all on the correct sides? aaaaaaaaaand why are you driving at 95mph?
