archer1.8
Question for you guys and gals. Currently I am running a V1 Accessport with one of their first revisions. I am now ready to get a protune and eventually stage 3. I am not to sure about opensource as an option because not many shops tune with it anymore. And I want to be able to have my tuner email me a map so I can drive to his shop after I do injectors/turbo/ebcs etc So can I get a v2 accessport as long as it is V2? Say someone had it on an 05 STi. Can I just buy it used and downloads the OTS maps from Cobb, or are the maps for the LGT already on the V2.
cryo
Speak with your tuner and ask if they use open source. If they do it opens up your options. As long as you use the sub02 of you have a 05-06 and a sub03 version if its 07+ A AP for the 05 sti would work fine as its a sub02 AP and yes all Cobb's maps are available on their website. Have a great day and hope this helps. Willson556
Almost all will tune AP and most will do open source as well. Based on what I've read, Dave/Cryotune would be an excellent choice.
archer1.8
Decided to hold off on a turbo upgrade. Are injectors worth it on a vf40
iNVAR
Dude, you gotta do some reading/searching. Even a cursory search would've yielded you a solid answer for that last question: NO.
archer1.8
Sorry i should have been more clear. Is it worth it to do the injector upgrade now or just wait till the turbo swap....
archer1.8
Not injectors lol ugh.....i meant the sti fuel pump upgrade on a stage 2. Lol
cryo
It wouldn't hurt anything but is not required with the stock turbo/injectors.
