I've got to measure the draw but it's running on the bench with a 4amp supply. Anyone know how much you can draw from the factory harness? SVXdc Posted August 6, 2010 Share Posted August 6, 2010 There are two power wires, each on its own fuse. In 2010 and later: Pin 3, +12V Accessory (switched), is on fuse #24 under the dash. 15 Amps. Pin 20, +12V Battery (constant), is on fuse #6 in the engine compartment. 25 Amps. This fuse also powers the harman/kardon amplifier (in vehicles that have that). I don't think these two fuses supply power to any other circuits. You may want to use pin 20 for your main power. The pin 3 wire in the radio harness is smaller -- only 20 gauge. Looks like no sweat to use the factory harness. I had looked at the firewall and didn't see an easy way in so this is indeed good news.
