Finally had a good day to wash her up and get some photos. Bone stock 2012 LGT. I have to say I really like the darker shade of the wheels. I liked the more traditional shape of the steering wheel on the 2010/11. But the 2012 still has a great feel. Thanks again to everyone here for the honest and courteous feedback on this great machine.

Looks great XTZ12. I prefer the darker wheels the '12s have too.

Hmmm, I had no idea they changed them. Might keep that in mind if do seperate rims/tire sets for the Blizzaks.

Just got home with our new (to us) 2010 LGT earlier tonight.

10,300 miles ... Prem. pkg + sunroof & fogs (which I thought were an option in 2010)

Sorry I chopped the nose off , I need a wider garage I guess ...

Looking at XTZ12's interior shot, I see a big Nav-like screen. What's it do in a non-Nav model? My car has a big pointless stereo screen now and I think it's going to age look of the interior considerably in a couple years.

I am really curious.

HoosierDaddy... did you get the 2010 Prem in Wisconsin? I think I looked at that one online if so.

LOVE the GT in RRP!!

Non Nav models do not have screens. They double din head unit with a cubby under it.

Yep , Wilde Subaru in Waukesha.

You know that saying , the car you looked at today and will buy tomorrow was looked at by someone else yesterday and will buy today?

I called before I left and prompted the internet guy to take my C.card # for a down payment since I was driving 3 hrs to get there. Good thing ...

About 20 seconds after the wife and I got out of our car and headed over to the LGT , someother dude came over and was verbally CREAMING all over the damm thing , which didn't help my negotiating position at all.

Hell , we went for a LOOONG test drive and he was STILL there when we got back and at some point his sales guy came over and asked if we had bought it yet.

Luckily , I had that "down payment" (they never actually ran the card) , which blocked him from being able to buy it out from under me.

Regardless , I was still able to negotiate a deal that I was happy with and we inked it ... as you can see.

FYI , the car was only on the lot about a week or so , it came with Michelin X-ice2's and they are trying to get ahold of the PO for the summer meats. He has them but had not brought them down yet , so I thought that was pretty cool since the Outback I traded I included the summer and winter tires for it also , Michelin hydro's and Blizzaks.

We're pumped , as you can imagine. wait ... it came from Wisconsin , so I guess we are CHEESED ! :icon_chee

If was a a little closer, I definitely would have been there the same day. It was almost a 500 miles round trip though, so I went to Dayton OH instead and test drove a Silver '11. If the one you got this weekend had come with no moon roof, I would have definitely been making similar phone calls giving credit card info and trying to secure the car for myself. I *love* the Ruby Red, and I never like red on non-Ferrari autos, lol.

I am hoping I can order a '12 or '13 with Moonroof delete. I have no interest in a $1000 hole in my roof that I will almost never utilize.

Regardless, BIG congrats on what is a killer fun car to drive and what was probably a really good deal for a very low-mile 2010. :D

To the rest of you... please pour on more Legacy Ruby Red pornography!!

Moonroof is standard on the 2012 LGT. Only true factory option is Nav. I would be very surprised if that changed for 2013. But don't let that stop you from ordering! We love it!

Yeah , I hear you on the sun roof delete stuff. I just don't fight it anymore ... adds value at trade in time anyways.

Here's some "fresh from her bath and wax job" smut you asked for :

I had a similar situation with a member on here (EmanTheYeti), but I was on the loosing end. I had put down a deposit on (now his car) in NY and found out the next day that he had beat me to it. He had just put one down before me with a different salesman than mine. My salesman called me the next day telling me my deposit will be refunded since I was beat to the punch. His is GGM, which i really wanted, but then found my lovely RRP only 25 minutes away and immdediately put down a deposit to secure it. So basically he saved me a 6 hr drive. Thanks Eman!!

GGM and RRP are probably my two top colors right now. Though, that is likely to change daily for at least a couple weeks. The Graphite Gray has enough of a unique tint to it in certain light to have me pretty interested. Not to mention ease of keeping it looking clean and nice. I really liked the Deep Indigo in person too.

HoosierDaddy - You are right. I should give up my fantasy of exactly the car I want. It probably won't ever exist. Frankly, the LGT is one of the only ones that fulfills 95% of what I want in a car.

Thanks for the pics!! Man I do love this color.

That reminds me , there isn't an indigo blue thread yet is there?

If I were to buy a new one , I'd be ALL OVER that ... maybe , I have a project 1969 Bronco that I want to finish off in a very similar color , can't have two of the same (like I do now).

GGM would round out the top three , I find it interesting also.

Something else happened today also , I began liking the chrome window trim that I was dead set on blacking out.

I'm all about trimming the grill in RRP like what was done on page one , the wife agrees too.

Did you realize this on your own or by an outside source. The reason for my question is that I was dead set on plasti dipping everything chrome. I told my wife that I was doing this and she immediately disagreed and yelled at me. I actually agree by plasti dipping out RRP may infact take the class out of the car. Its actually a very classy look on this color now that I think about it. I even photoshopped it which didn't come out to good but immediatley agreed with the wife which rarely ever happens when it comes to car stuff. The grill in RRP wouldk be a nice touch. Not sure if the wife agrees here. We shall see......
