RawLegs
I'm looking to buy a 93 legacy L AWD wagon and I did some compression numbers, and the variance is enough to make me think twice... 192k miles. 155 175 150 177 I know it's more important to look at variance than the actual numbers (as long as they're roughly within spec). Is the difference enough here that I should beware? The party is asking 2000 and is my friend, so it's a deal... The car runs great, has been well cared for, and everything else seems to test out OK. A leakdown test would be worthwhile I'm sure, but I'm in a time crunch at this point.
rao
It's close. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
HairySheep
one cylinder bank is actually just below the recommended compression. it should be 156-185, but since it is 2 and not just 1 cylinder there is not an obvious problem. did you check the oil? i wouldnt worry about it to much though, an EJ22 can almost outlast the car, mine is over 300k miles when i did my car it was 160-175 165-
