CRogge
Do a search for how to replace your clutch and you will find all of the steps necessary to remove your transmission. You will also need to pull the axles out. A flat-bladed pry-bar works great for this. I would definitely recommend renting a transmission jack from a local tool rental store or I know many other members have bought cheap ones. Good luck! kshymkiw
Get a Tranny Jack - these things weigh like 400 lbs.
citka
Did you get this out? I swapped a clutch this weekend on a 4th gen. It's my 4th or 5th one so I may be able to help out if you'd like.
j255c
You can get it out without a transmission jack, I can pick the damn thing up with my 2 hands, it weighs around 115lbs. I actually just shipped my old blown one out, with the foam, 2 boxes and 4 bags of peanuts it was 125lbs 06 TB EVO IX SE stock turbo monster subaru hater
