Drag Racing at RMR....who's in?

I want to do a few 1/4 mile runs at RMR before they close for the winter. Anyone want to come?

 

Here's the schedule:

 

-Wed, Sept 8 5pm to dusk $25

-Fri, Sept 10 11pm-2am (Midnight Drags) $10

-Fri, Sept 17 11pm-2am $10

For sure. I've already taken the legacy and the vette out a few times this year.

i hope your saying the z06. I heard nice drag radials put z06's in the 10's but then again its utah.

I haven't been to the midnight drags here...is it crowded? The time I went last year at 5pm wasn't too bad.

Ran 11.90@121mph a few weeks ago bogging the launch on the hottest day of the year. That was a DA of 8500+ft so if you correct it to 0 DA then that is 10s but who cares about what it would run at sealevel.

 

Yes they are crowded. You should get 3-4 runs in if you stay the whole time. Maybe more.

That's moving at that altitude. I thought corvette's were slow

121mph is fast. 8500 DA is about normal for Bandimere (Golden, CO). What year/mods on the vette?

So who's in? I could do either the evening or midnight drags, depending on which has more opportunity for runs.

I might be down, doubt I'd run though, Friday nights would work best for me but I could probably get the Thursday off after that Wednesday if that would be better for others

midnights are packed unless you go slash tires on every wrx and evo and srt4 in utah cause thats all that runs at midnights.

I bet it's a ricer fest too.

Midnights are $10 to run. Weds are $25 and I think you may have to be registered with RMR to run the Wed which is another $20.

You don't have to be registered with them to do Test and Tunes. I asked a while back.

Cool. I'll probably be at all of them. No reason to just do one. The midnights are fun. Hang out, BS, check out cars, and enjoy it. There is a lot more then just ricers.

Going to Test & Tune at RMR this evening to see what the wife's wagon will do. Best way to do it... Minimal ricers. Then Wendover track soon. I still need to put together a meet as soon as I get the details.

The wife is running... I ran a 13.5 a couple years ago. Hoping she does about the same.
