monkeyposeur
I found an ad for this cobb access port. It says that it is for an '02-03 wrx. Normally I see these go for $400-500. This looks to be an older style than what comes up when I do a google search. Anyone familiar with these? I was thinking about picking it up if could work with my '02 wrx ecu that I am going to use for my swap. I don't need it at the moment, but if I can get one for $50 I might jump on it. Ad states: "2002-2003 Subaru WRX Cobb Accessport that comes with AccessPORT Programmer, DiagPORT cable, and User's Guide. Call with any questions!" shadowsports
Although I don't have experience with a v1 AP, I'd make sure cobb is still supporting it so you can download the correct maps, AP Manager, etc. I'd wait till someone else chimes in to verify compatibility. monkeyposeur
Ok, thanks. At least I know what it is now and it allowed me to do some research. It is no longer supported by Cobb and is model specific. So it won't do me any good as my swap will be a hybrid. Cobb has an offer on their website where they will offer you a $200 credit towards a v2 if you trade in the v1 though. But since I am a ways off with my swap I'll just pass on it. subikid90
Make sure it is not married to a previous car, it would then become useless. I am not sure how to check to see if it is married or unmarried but I am sure a quick google search will tell -Subikid90 1997 Legacy GT 5spd & EJ251 w/EJ25D heads ~10.5CR 1998 Legacy GT Limited waiting for EJ22T hybrid swap
