SubaruTim
2007 2.5i Okay, so tonight I was driving home from a skiing resort and the roads out there are not very good. I hit possibly the biggest pot hole i have ever seen and I was really nervous i bent a rim but i just shrugged it off and on the way home it was a little noisy but its always been noisy because of the tires. So I get home and look at my rear drivers side rim which hit and it was really low on tire pressure so the first thing i thought was. "Oh shit, i fucked my differential up." Filled it back up with the appropriate PSI and it was at 20psi so I'm really nervous i fucked something up. After i filled it up to where it needed to be i took it for a drive and didn't hear anything abnormal but then again i wasn't going faster than 35. So i'm just looking for some advice. I plan on going to the dealer in the morning for them to check it out and hopefully nothing is wrong. Will have them change the front and rear diff fluid as well. mwiener2
your diff is probably fine. how many hurt drivelines have you heard about that can be directly attributed to uneven tire sizes? Everyone likes to caution about it, but it doesn't happen very often. My Mods List (Updated 8/22/17) 2005 Outback FMT Running on Electrons
SubaruTim
That's relieving to hear, I appreciate it. Just very nervous I might have done something. Think it would be wise to still have them check it out and change fluids?
