Ari_OutbackWagon
After 19 months and 55,000 miles of carefree driving, my powertrain warranty will be running out in another 5,000 miles. Nothing is wrong with the car, other that it burns some oil. I've done all the maintenance myself and now I'm just wondering if I should bring it in for a general inspection, (for a cost of $120) to see if they catch anything before the warranty runs out. Valuable or waste of money, thoughts?
Dan007CT
im about to bring mine in for the 30,000 mile checkup before I hit it.. which will end my warranty. IIIIII think its worth it?
BoozeRS05
I wouldn't worry about it, but it can't hurt.. The 60k mile service is a big one, which I had mine done with 58k miles for a little extra insurance.. From what I understand, Subaru's last a long time under one condition; following the maintenance schedule in a proper & timely manner (from air filters to timing belts)..
