Golf4283
Can someone confirm that the perrin lightweight crank pulley works for the H6? I want to swap my stock for this. Thanks.

Golf4283
Yea I talked to Perrin. It doesn't. Anyone know if there is one that exists anywhere?
GEE-OTTO
Ive never seen a LWCP for the EZ30 in the states but maybe the AUS or EUR folks have a lead since they get the H6 6MT variant of the Legacy.
andnyleswillriot
is your car even an M/T? if it's auto I wouldn't even bother wasting your money for barely any gain.
saffarco
http://www.prs.jp/cgi-bin/remisecart/main.cgi?mode=details&sid=1&gid=1S176008 I have it fitted already. e-mail contact@japanparts.com and ask them to add it to their listing. Mine is 5eat, and I feel the response!

legacyshawn
Just contacted japanparts.com and they said $180 plus shipping. Hmm may consider it. But now I'm wondering if it's worth the possibility of increased crank vibrations causing premature bearing failure....

For our boxers (H4 and H6) the balancing isnt done by the OEM crank pulley so that shouldnt be an issue. With the 5EAT in the mix or any AT in the mix it wont be that much of a change to the Crank or knock sensors. the MT guys can get issues when going LWCP + LWFW but not all that common. legacyshawn
I guess what I was reading was not so much actual balancing the crank but absorbing crankshaft vibrations. I'be read that the rubber in the stock pulley helps absorb some of that vibration which in turn saves the bearings... Could this not be true? But GEE I read that too and so I'm not worried about getting codes or anything. Just wanting to it a bit peppier.
