silentguy
I got tired of pressure washing my driveway to get rid of oil stains. I've used cardboard, newspaper, and while those are cheap, they dont hold a lot of liquid. I do also use drain pans, but inevitably they dont catch everything. I've tried out these Aborbz pads, which are supposed to be for training your pets, but they work great for absorbing oil too. They are similar to diaper material, in that they have a gel which absorbs liquid and holds it. Much better than paper towels, cardboard, and newspaper I've draped them over the car frame to catch drips too when spraying out the engine with cleaners. They were $16.00 for a large box at Costco. They were the Extra Absorbz, the white/tan colored ones. http://www.absorbzpads.com/ So I lay down a few under the drain pan, which gets anything that splashes or misses the pan. LosAngelesLGT
You know what costco towels are really good at holding? Baby feces. For the record, the trees that are processed into baby diaper absorbative material are burning. There is going to be a "diaper shortage", in other words, diaper prices are going up dramatically. Nice suggestion tho', particularly if you are like me and always have a large stash of diapers on hand.

Lucid
My uncle has parked, and worked on, leaky motorcycles over dog training pads for years. They work great for that.
