ZinFreak Posted April 26, 2007 Share Posted April 26, 2007 As part of the 4th Annual (SubaruForester.org/LegacyGT.com) NORCAL Meet and Drive on May 27th, 2007 we are holding a charity raffle to support Canine Companions for Independence. More information can be found about this wonderful organization at: http://www.caninecompanions.org/ So far, here's what we have for prizes, and the list is growing. 1st prize: TireSpy Tire Pressure Monitoring System 2nd prize (there's actually 4 of them): TiC & Kartboy bushing set bundles for the 5MT - each bundle includes shifter stay bushings, pivot lever bushings, rear diff bushings & cherry blossom red tranny crossmember bushings 3rd prize (2 of them): Black Delrin "Honeydipper" shift knobs made by yelnats_J of subaruforester.org - one auto, one manual 4th prize (2): Kartboy battery tie-downs with silicone logo inserts 5th prize (2): $25 gift certificates for Hodges Subaru You do not need to be present at the event to win, that is you can purchase tickets even if you are not participating in the Meet and Drive event. The first through fifth place prizes are up for grabs...open to anyone in the United States. International members are eligible with the understanding that they must pay for shipping. We'd love to sell a LOT of tickets, so we're going to make this raffle pretty cheap. Tickets are $2/ea. or 3/$5 100% OF THE PROCEEDS (minus paypal fees which we might incur) are going DIRECTLY to the Canine Companions organization. Here's how the raffle works: 1. Member sends in a paypal donation to: subaruforester_merchandise@yahoo.com with a subject line of "raffle". If you choose to send in a check, please make it payable to "Canine Companions, and send it to: SubaruForester.org Charity Raffle P.O. Box 1072 Occidental, CA 95465 If you're sending a check, PLEASE make sure it's in the mail NO LATER THAN 18th of May, in order to make sure you get your entries into the raffle. Check with your accountant to see if this is tax-deductible, as this organization IS a non-profit charity (according to website homepage). 2. We will send you the ticket numbers you bought, and mark your s/n on the ticket stubs. On May 27th, at the BBQ following the meet, we will have a representative from Canine Companions (hopefully) draw the winning tickets for the prizes.
