Custom made Intercooler less than US$200

My TMIC Made with a front mount core the core is 21x7x3 not much different from others TMIC made for legacy GT the ID cost only $100 and te built $90 al made in aluminum just use a 2" to 2.75 45° hose and a Perrin BPV

How's the splitter line up with it? Looks like its sitting too far back to get much air flow.

Just behind this piece, this is not my actual splitter but is for reference.

I like the effort but the core is to far back and probably only utilizing half the splitter. You essentially just having the air coming from the hood scoop hitting the front of your core and not actually cooling anything.

 

The closer to the intake manifold the better as that is where the scoop and splitter are aligned.

I will make a custom splitter too, he also make me a support for the intercooler but was a full day with the car disable and I was to tired to wait, I will return this Saturday

heat soak city. a third of your core is directly over the turbo

Yes I need a turbo blanket and a heat shield ASAP
