CRT2005 Posted April 25, 2014 Share Posted April 25, 2014 Just picked up a clean 2005 Legacy 2.5 N/A 5-speed with 167k miles for $700. Engine runs nice and smooth, only problem is that the car doesn't move. Engines running, clutch in, 1st gear, clutch out, NOTHING. 2nd, NOTHING. 3rd, 4th, 5th, NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. Reverse..........NOTHING. I can move the shifter from gear to gear with the car running and the clutch out, no noises, no movement, no resistance, no nothing. I know a guy...who can rebuild it. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
