Creator1322
I'm looking for the torque specifications for the following items relative to the image linked/attached to this post: Nut #1 (Attached to #5) & Nut #4 If you're familiar with any instructions relative to replacing #5, I would appreciate it. The passenger side bushing of #5 is leaking badly. It's a very "gooey" substance and is "stringy" when pulled apart between fingers. Interesting to say the least. Thank you very much! I have a 2006 Outback XT Limited, same chassis as Legacy as referenced using the link below. whitetiger
Just make sure its nice and tight. Tq spec isn't critical here. I'm sure someone will chime in with a number if you insist.
Max Capacity
When I did pulled my rear diff twice last summer. I just tighten them up good and tight. Don't about the small stuff. Some things are important to be torqued, this is not one of them. I'll pm a link that will give you all the info on the car you need. they don't like us to post it on the forum. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. Creator1322
Took it to my local repair shop and it took 20 minutes and $50 cash. There was a small tear in the front passenger side bushing which caused a leak requiring this replacement. Thanks for the assistance everyone.
