GNG_Kirby Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 On CL there is a 2002 WRX engine, the 2.0 turbo for sale. He wants $600, and it is said to have a bad rod bearing. WESTcoast Posted February 19, 2010 Share Posted February 19, 2010 Your best bet is to have a shop rebuild the motor as I never heard of a kit to rebuild an engine (but thats just me). If you do get it, and have a shop rebuild it it will be stronger and have a better durability and probally longevity. You can also do internal upgrades as well such as forged pistons, camshafts, injectors and all that good stuff. You probally be doubling that 600 or trippling. Check to see if there are any shops that specialize on subarus like tuning shops. Those are the ones that will know what they are doing. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
