"Highlight" video from a recent track day

Hiya guys, this past Saturday I went out for the Flatiron Tuning track day at HPR. I was the only Legacy, there was an Outback (mweiner2) and a guy in a modded Forrester. Pretty much everything else was WRX or STi's, many with 300-400whp (some over 500).

I'm posting this video for a few reasons, they are:

  • I'm a track rat and it's fun to create it
  • To show that having a fast car means NOTHING if you can't drive it (people are fast, cars CAN be fast)
  • To be fast you need more than just power
  • And to that point tuning the nut behind the wheel is much more important than just about anything else.

So here ya go, enjoy:

(remember I did this to be very tongue-in-cheek)

EDIT: Here are my current mods

- K-Sport coilovers (fully corner balanced)

- Wilwood 4 pot front calipers

- Performance Friction racing pads

- DBA4000 slotted rotors

- Stainless lines, slotted rear rotors, Motul fluid

- Light rims (18lbs)

- Kuhmo Ecsta 225/45/17 (which I HATE - 4-5 seconds a lap slower than the Potenza RE-01R)

- Whiteline Front/Rear sways

- Perrin Endlinks / AVO rear bracket

- Borla CBE

- Crucial Racing downpipe

- Cobb short throw / Cobb bushings

- Dyno tune by Boostcreep (210whp/275wtq)

Squid - I put it inside the front bumper, in the middle area where the radiator grill is. Having it way down low like that really conveys the speed much better. Sadly its so loud that it destroys the sound.

As for my mods I'll update my first post with it.
