wagon666
I am very proud say that I am a new Subaru legacy owner. I picked her up about 3 weeks ago with 105,000 OM. Had one owner, never been in an accident, interior is spot on. It was re painted. not the best job but it works for now. Every time I drive the car I become more attached . Shes my daily driver and runs very well. suspension mods soon to come! http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20121022_182903.jpg http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20121022_182917.jpg http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20121022_181653.jpg Tinted the windows. I'm still deciding if I should go coils or struts and springs. Lived a very garaged life it seems o_O It did indeed! Which is why I could pass it up. One of the best cars I ever owned. I plan on keeping it in as mint condition as possible.

monkeyposeur
Wow! I love garaged leggys. I had to go to hell and back to get my wagon looking nice again. I like WRX wheels too. They look good in black.

wagon666
So its been a while since I have been on. after some trials and tribulations my car is coming together kind of haha. I was watching some football with a couple of friends one Sunday, and a nice old gentleman decided he wanted to back his Honda ridge line into my poor, helpless, parked Subaru. He was nice enough to let me know, and his insurance payed for it. His truck came away with some of my paint. luckily he just smashed the fender and didn't keep going. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20121209_171934_zpse41d1641.jpg finally got the wrx rims on with some new kumho tires. I also scored some side skirts from a sedan at the junkyard. I have yet to mount them. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20130117_164152_zpsb232a1a8.jpg http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/taylorw91/IMG_20130117_164206_zps1e26b822.jpg

wagon666
Yeah I want to do the all the suspension components. still debating if i should go coilovers or struts & springs. Im leaning towards struts and springs since it is my daily.
monkeyposeur
Coilovers for me would be a bit too much. I like a comfy ride for my dd.
lilpoindexter
MY POS '96 wagon has H&R springs with KYB struts, 1/2 spacers in the back..At first I liked the firmness, but using it as a daily makes me wish the combo was just a little softer...but I would rather it be too hard than too soft...My car only has 14's on it too...If I eventually put 16's on it, i suppose the ride will get even worse...I have to say, that the car sticks PHENOMENALLY in the turns...It's my first AWD car and my first Subaru, but it won't be the last...The car is virtually uncatchable in the turns...There is a big sweeping 270 degree turn on the local freeways that I love to embarrass ricers on with my crappy old wagon. monkeyposeur
I love the 270s too! So much fun in a Subaru with good suspension and tires. I have stock springs and KYB GR2s that have close to 100k on them, 16" WRX rims w/fairly new Goodyear Comforted Touring tires. I have a new set of KYBs and H&R lowering springs to swap on their when I get some time and it warms up a bit outside.
wagon666
What KYB struts are you guys running? Ive owned a 240sx that was dumped on coils and that was the worst ride of my life.
monkeyposeur
KYB-GR2s. About 10% stiffer than stock suspension.
NickTej22
KYB-GR2s. About 10% stiffer than stock suspension. So with that said a set of used wrx suspension could be a good investment? Get a perfect stance and handling. Sent from my HTC One V using Tapatalk
monkeyposeur
Depends on how used of course. It could be a great improvement.
