My back is 20, and I have the autodimming, and I can see a difference. I would definetely reccomend it if your eyes are sensitive to light and you live in SUVville USA like I do. Good luck.

He means the sideview mirrors mounted on the doors. You can use a hairdryer to get the glue sticky and then peel them off I believe.

Thanks for deciphering my incomprehensible post. Exactly, the SIDEVIEW mirrors- my bad. BTW- good to meet up with you and the others yesterday.

 

You can get tinted sideview mirror flasher covers in Japan, and I am thinking of making my car even more attractive to the police. I'll look through the vacation pics, maybe it's there.

Anybody know how to remove and replace the clear plastic, sideview mirror flasher lenses? I will be replacing w/jdm tinted lens. tia

mirror removal

1. face mirror up

2. with a flat screw driver unhook the locking clip(2)

3. lift upward

4. disconnect the mirror heater

 

scalp cap removal

1. press-in upper clips from inside the mirror

2. pull the scalp cap frontwards of door mirror

3. remove the clips from the bottom of the scalp cap

 

side turn signal removal

1. disconnect the wiring harness

2. remove the mounting screws 2 outside 1 inside
