TrueWhiteBoy Posted March 18, 2013 Share Posted March 18, 2013 Hi, I'm looking at doing taking a trip up to the Santa Barbara / Goleta area and thought that camping would be fun. I'm looking at tent camping near the ocean if possible. El Capitan State Beach seems nice and I see that they even offer online reservations, but has anyone stayed there before? Is it decent for tent camping? Any other suggestions? I'm willing to drive as far north as the Santa Maria area if there's a better place near there.
