NZLegacyGTB
Hey guys..so summer is coming in New Zealand. Just did a trans flush..car is running great. Looking at installing a trans cooler. Looked up a thread here had good info. But on sunday after carefully looking at how i'm gonna mount it i realise the only trans line i can see go to the filter and straight back. Do JDM legacys not cool the transmission fluid using the radiator??
polyarkos
check the bottom of you radiator, there should be a couple of hoses attached (as well as the bottom radiator hose). These are ATF cooler lines, there are a few posts that show what line to add the external cooler.

Whatisit
Your jdm legacy is an automatic right?. just about every automatic uses cooler lines from the radiator to cool off the ATF.

NZLegacyGTB
Thanks for the links..all the same except for the hose pipes going down to the radiator..if you look at the first pic the 2 pipes going away are to the filter thats it..nothing to the radiator..
