psucaptainkickass
In PA, you have to get your car inspected first. You get a temporary paper registration thingy you put on the back window until your real registration sticker comes. This sticker goes on your plate in one of the corners. IIRC, the plate and registration should come together. If you are a AAA member after you get the state inspection and you should be able to go there and get your registration and plate right away without waiting to get it in the mail....not 100% about this tho. hakgwai
and this could be done at pretty much any autoshop?
psucaptainkickass
Yeah, pretty much any autoshop does state inspections. I think PENNDOT has a listing of shops in the area as well as how much they charge...just go for the cheapest. I go to a monroe muffler in my hometown. Bolksey85
May want to just ask around about who you can trust. A local Pep Boys got popped for faulty inspection practices a year and 1/2 ago. That, and those kind of places are always stripping lug bolts and nuts.
