Just what I want to find. Not having much luck though :(

where are you? what have you seen? i've been looking at cars for months on craigslist and came home one night around 530 and this had just been posted. i replied, ran out there and made an offer. drove it home the next morning. i was a little apprehensive considering some complaints i read here and there and almost didn't buy it but so far, so good. i have an '01 tundra and it's been sitting ever since.

Jdog - I'm in the Cincinnati Ohio area. Subarus, especially of the slightly older generations, are NOT popular in this area. Lots of Foresters (drove one, not for me) and WRXs (LOVE that car, but don't want a turbo DD) but not many Legacys, wagon or not.

I drove a black 1998 GT wagon and loved it; the price was right, but my mechanic and I found an awful lot wrong with it, and not usual stuff like timing belt etc. The showstopper was the massive water leak in the sunroof and windshield - the passenger floor was awash in water when I drove it after some rain.

I've got my father and brother looking - they're in eastern Pennsylvania, in a much more Subie-rich area. Hopefully something will come up before long... I'm pretty sick of my Protege.

Sorry for the OT material - back to the pictures!

Finally did some work and got some pics of my outback. Tranny is still blown but at least it looks good parked in my driveway haha. Installed my stock wrx suspension and the old 17's that came off my car.

Hi there:

New member with a new-to-me 96 L Outback wagon. starting work on it now with body changes. Anyone know if the 97 hood scoop hood is a swap out with my non-scoop hood? Much thanks.

the garage door lip is a great idea-love that

Hoods a direct swap. I did mine a few months ago. Just bolts right on and make sure to hook up the washer sprayer hose.

2000 Outback with only 40k miles! Just about perfect in and out. It's not a Limited but it's pretty spec'd up - leather, cold weather package, etc. No sunroof(s) but I'm OK with that - means there's nothing to leak ;)

Plans include lowering, a better stereo, possibly wheels, and if I get really frisky an intake/header setup. After that, drive drive drive.
