I'm sure this has been discussed multiple times before but are there any good exhaust options for a 2012 2.5i

without spending $1,000 or getting a custom one? i have seen some 2.5i impreza's with catbacks that could

mock an wrx or sti. no performance just want to hear that rumble a little more

thanks, greg

No rumble b/c EL headers. Any 08 WRX sedan axelbacks will fit.

Just keep a look out on classifieds, got a brand new magnaflow for $600 shipped. It sounds good but you don't have the "boxer rumble", it's a nice deep growl tho.

I feel like the Magnaflow wouldn't sound that great on an automatic 2.5. It's an extremely loud exhaust because there's no resonator in the i-pipe. The piping is also probably too big for a 2.5

Legacy 2.5GT's gained EL headers starting with the 2010 model year.

Fixed.

Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs.
