.NetSubie
That looks awesome. To clarify - do you have them wired as your DRLs instead of the stock lowbeams, then? Along with the sidemarkers? Not quite. When I bought my car, the drl's were already disabled. I wired up the white in the strips as custom drl's taping into a wire under the dash. The side markers retain their stock functionality, just switchback bulbs.
digdug18
Looks good, I'm going to be adding these tubes from aliexpress on my 99 legacy wagon, just waiting for some projectors to show up before I can begin the install. Might as well do it all at once and all.
reeceBMX70
I actually think these would look good with the amber corners too. How bright are they when you add the headlights into the equation for normal night driving?
.NetSubie
How bright is what? At night everything looks really good and highly visible
reeceBMX70
Sorry for not being clear, I was referring to how much having both the led strip and regular headlights on improved visibility at night.
.NetSubie
Nighttime visibility is improved almost none. If I just have the LED strips on, it does glow in the area the fog lights illuminate. It is faint, but noticible, Until I turn on my headlights and fog lights.
RyanGT
I wish these LED strips were avail when I installed mine. These look way cooler. . . I have enough drama for now.....
.NetSubie
Thanks! Update on mine, after about 9 months, the passenger one is not blinking all the time. Something seems to be going on with the module to change it from white to amber. Will investigate and post my findings.
reeceBMX70
Will be great to hear your findings. I was wondering about the reliability of the light strips

.NetSubie
Your headlights look the same as mine, so you should be able to follow the instructions on the first page. There should also be a link to the lights I purchased there too. If not, I got them from ijdmtoy.com Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Silinc3r
This looks awesome! I was wondering what to do on the 08-09 headlights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk What lights are those behind the grill? I thought I may have been the only one to do it as I haven't seen anyone do it too. I like yours with that grill as you can see them easier. Also, I am wondering since i have the JDM headlight garnish, would I be able to stick my lights in the oven. 275 or whatever isn't too hot but don't want to mess em up. .NetSubie
Thanks. They are some cheap led driving lights I picked up on Amazon. As for the JDM garnish, I'm not sure. They should be fine. Remember that the whole headlight is plastic. If you wanted to be extra cautious you could try a lower temp then hit it with a heat gun for the last little bit. .NetSubie
These are still running fine. I did have a small period where I thought the controller on one went out, but a connection had corroded. A quick cleaning and it was good to go. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161012/2510effaceb28f6d791d5b01ce15be0d.jpghttp://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20161012/6b5682d1027408c00d2b94a9e21305db.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
