The good news? It finally came in today (along with the 20mm rear sway bar). The bad news? I need a root canal (next week)... But that's not important. ;)

The box was a bit compressed from shipping, but fortunately the spoiler was intact. With the test-fit, the spoiler fits very well. The package came with all of the necessary mounting tape, K2 Gear decals, and a document in Japanese that I won't be able to translate. :icon_tong

The other bad news is that it probably won't be painted for at least a month, as I'm waiting on the JDM 2.0GT spec.B front bumper to arrive so that I can get both painted at the same time.

we need more pics though. You doing the rear bumper too? Im thinking the short front might look wierd with the long back... iuno.

More pics. will come when I actually get things completed... :) I thought about the JDM rear bumper, but the 2" or so difference wasn't worth the extra price/shipping of another bumper along with the bumper beam and repaint (since they don't have Titanium Silver Metallic in Japan).

how much did you get it for

wonder if I can just cut a notch for the stock wing and have a dual wing look to it.

Keefe, you probably could notch it, as the spoiler itself is hollow. I don't know how it would look, though... ;)

How does the mounting tape look? Look sturdy enough to keep that thing on there at high speeds?

It's a small roll of 3M (grey) body mounting tape, so I'm sure it will hold. I have a couple larger rolls of the same material, so I could always double-up. ;)

You have great taste man.......

That is sick.......not only that, we have the same garage door.......LOL

isn't it fun to be the first with something :D

If someone wanted to swap a stock trunk with spoiler I'd be all over this, but alas I've been look'n to swap for a long time now....

I was also the first to have JDM fog lights on an '04+ Impreza in the U.S. ;)

This unit would be much nicer looking and cheaper.

I wouldn't exactly call it cheaper... The OEM spoiler can be purchased for ~$311 painted (plus shipping). The K2 Gear costs $445 shipped, but unpainted.
