WYO_LGT05 Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 Every time i take a corner while acceleration i hear a repeated clunking noise from the rear driver side. also if launching i hear the same noise. is this my rear diff???? this does not happen at higher speeds, only from a beginning roll on turns and launches. I have a 05 5eat LGT, Full catless exhaust, cobb tuner and a spt intake p.s. i know launching is bad....but its fun!! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
C_randyjones Posted March 23, 2010 Share Posted March 23, 2010 I just posting my issues with similar problem: Symptoms: popping and jerking, seemingly coming from the rear, only at low speed turns under load. I could coast through a turn without problem, but threading the throttle resulted in popping sound. No popping under moderate accelleration in a straight line, but hard acceleration resulted in popping. results: BUSTED REAR DIFF!!!! Park it before you blow the tranny like I did.
