Or was it because the gloss might be too much luster for a DGM car? I'm going through the same dilemma right now. I want the +48 offset in a glossy finish but they don't sell it. So, I either have to go with a +53 in glossy or go +48 in matte. It's my wife's car and she wants as close to the STI gunmetal/anthracite/graphite wheels as possible. Decisions, decisions... I thought matte was harder to clean and I think the gloss would complement the lustre of the car's clear coat nicely. Or is there a thought that the gloss would be more shiny than the car itself?
