I know the non-limited LGT's don't come with sunroof, but I don't think the sunroof on that car is an aftermarket unit. Looking at the interior pics, it's sure looks factory. I wonder if the leather seats were swap for the cloth ones. Maybe someone can look up the vin number to be sure.

The VIN says it's a limited. You can see it on the title he shows in the pictures.

4S3BL676756220866

4S3 = Except for OUTBACK model

B = Legacy

L = Sedan

6 = 2.5 L AWD

7 = GT Limited

6 = Manual belts, Dual airbag, Side airbag (Except for OUTBACK model)

7 = is just a check digit

5 = 2005MY

6 = Full-time AWD 5MT

220866 = Serial number

Woops, I missed a digit, but yeah, it's a 2005MY LGT Limited.

He also pulled the Subaru lettering off the trunk. I bet he switched the seats. Who knows what other 'little things' are done to it. There is a gap in the dash lower dash board panel and the side trim in picture 13(driver side front) that is different from the gap in picture 15(passenger side front)??

Got a response from the seller:

This is a GT LIMITED I removed the leather seats becuase of my wife (no i dont have them). The seats I put back in the car are not power.

So it is a Limited with cloth seats. I think the price should be lower.

I think this guy is hiding more than meet the eyes. He responded that he replaced the seats with cloth ones, yet he says in his auction that he bought the car with an airbag light on. I say something does not add up.

Oh well, I bet the car will be sold anyway.

My guess is the car was in a side impact accident. The front seats have side air bags so if they had gone off and was damaged, it's probably cheaper to source used cloth seats than leather ones. Either way, something is fishy.

If he states that the airbag light was on when he got it and he replaced the seats; he probably bought it wrecked and rebuilt it using cloth seats. It would be interesting to see it in person.

Do the side air bags deploy in a frontal/rear impact?

Let's kick this pig!
