Viper Security

anyone got one of these one their cars?

 

i just bought a '05 LGT () and this came with it. I wanted to find some more info on it and was wondering if anyone has a clue how i can locate the model number for the viper alarm.

Remove your kick panel underneath the steering wheel. The box should be under there. I've never had one on my car, IDK why someone would put on an aftermarket alarm on a car with a factory alarm, unless it also had a remote start feature.

haha yea, it does have the remote start. is that the only place it would be?

i have a viper alarm on mine.. i put it on because it is 2way and was cheap.. but yeah, check the brain (black box) which will most likely be mounted under the steering wheel behind the panels..

I think if you get down there its pretty easy to figure out. There should be a extra key in the black box too. If you ever get an extra key or remote programmed make sure they reprogram the one in the box too. just a heads up.
