I have an 09 HK system with manual air (No auto climate control) and am trying to find out if I can hook up an aftermarket amp to the stock HU for an enclosed subwoofer in the trunk. I haven't been able to find if there are RCA outputs on the forum though. I would rather not need to buy an aftermarket HU if it is possible to get an adapter or something of that nature if there are indeed no RCA ports. BigTDogg MA Posted April 3, 2013 Share Posted April 3, 2013 There are no RCA outs on the HU, but you can add them. You need to have decent soldering skills though. The other option is to add a Line Output Converter to get RCA outs. However, having manual HVAC makes it super easy to get a new HU, which would be ideal since the factory HU doesn't have the best EQ and sound quality.
