isabelle
Any recommendations for a subaru specialist in the mid-atlantic area to repair my car's engine or replace it? As it crapped out down south, I will be transporting to mechanic so it does not necessarily have to be in a specific area other than mid-atlantic. acumenhokie
There are many. Where in the mid-atlantic? Might as well take it to the closest of about 10 well known places.
isabelle
i am in central PA (Harrisburg area) but if there is a reputable place that does a ton of rebuilds I could take it there as the car will be transported up here.

stm25rs
Thank you. Any other mechanics? I called IAG and was told someone would call me back but have not received a call. IAG's a great shop, and are pretty much exclusively a Subaru shop, but they're really busy. Try giving them another call, or email sales@iagperformance.com or drew@iagperformance.com. Note - since they are so busy, it might be a couple weeks before they can get you in, especially for major work like an engine rebuild. I had to schedule a couple weeks in advance for tires/alignment, and fluids/spark plugs. I've also heard good things about Agile Auto, but I have not been there. Dujo
AZP Installs in NJ can sort you out. Forum vendor here and very well regarded. Do whatever Mike tells you to do.
