Jewby Posted January 29, 2012 Share Posted January 29, 2012 my car is going north to stay for a while. i plan to put a simple block heater (as far as i can tell) spliced into the upper coolant hose. instructions are minimal on the heater kit. any imput? Jewby Posted February 1, 2012 Author Share Posted February 1, 2012 alaska. i put it on the lower hose. alls well, total of $45 after new antifreeze. however, i saw what looks like a frost plug on the bottom of the block, right beside the lower hose/t.stat.
