with those plastic end tanks.. you're probably better off replacing it. Even if they can repair it you may wind up seeing this again.

well I certainly learned something from all of this..

blown IC=slide whistle. So I'll know what to look for if this ever happens to mine.

you can use a needle nose pliers and re-bend the tabs back together than JB Weld over the tabs and seam. It will not break at the tabs again if JB Welded.

It doesn't always whistle. With just the right opening/leak it will.

Look for a used Perrin TMIC. It fits the 2005 perfectly. No problem with clearance over the clutch reservoir.

I think I'm just going to go stock...everthing else is stock, and I've already spent enough $. Unless, of course, someone's looking to sell a Perrin REALLY cheap...or just donate to the cause...
