GetAwayDriver
LGT- Didn't know where to exactly post this so please move this post if it is in the wrong forum. I purchased my LGT in June 05 and have noticed that whenever I go above, say 25-30 MPH with the Driver's side window down, a whistling sound generates and gets loud and annoying. Its coming from the little arm that connects the exterior rearview mirror to the door of the car. If you cup your hand over the front of that arm, there is no sound. Obviously, air passes through in some funny way that makes this annoying sound. I am going to take it to the dealer, however has anyone else experienced this problem? Gire
Yes, every time my window is down. I chalked it up to the design of the car. If the dealer fixes it, please let me know... I'll take mine as well.

D-2.5-GT
its the gap on the side mirrors where they fold in. A little weather stripping will help although i don't even notice it anymore.
Xenonk
nothing like black tape to fix it. Keefe Keefe
TSiWRX
I can hear it at higher speeds as well. My first time noticing it was at around 65-70 mph., with the windows down. I attribute it to a design flaw. My fixes? (1) Go faster! (2) Turn up the stereo. -A <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
GetAwayDriver
Yeh basically its a result of the design. I was told that by the dealer. Its a "What can you do thing.." Small price to pay from the Rally Gods.
Gire
Maybe I'll just use some black silicone that I have lying around to fill that gap:p
