Wagon Leather

I feel like I'm one of the only people with a GT wagon that has leather. Do any of you have it? From what I've seen it's mostly cloth.

My Outback has leather,wish it did have the cloth.

Yeah I kind of wish I can cloth because the leather is pretty hard, and it makes my butt fall asleep when I drive it for an hour or so.

I haz leather. It are schweet.

 

But I haz Outback... which are schweeter.

I love the leather in my subi...its even better with my real sheepskin covers haha. Its the best of both worlds.

The texture of my leather does not look like any pictures I have seen. Can anyone post up close pictures of theirs? I'm wondering if it's not original...

I'll post a pic of mine up later on today. I like having leather but I think the previous owner of my car didn't condition it often enough because I have some tears on the drivers seat and the front seats are kind of hard.

The "leather" on my seats feels thick and not smooth, almost like it were waterproof or something. I don't think it's actual leather, some vinyl of some sort. The other pictures I have seen look like soft actual leather, so I'm a tad confused.

Look's like a seat with some serious butt time on it. Are back seats in the same condition?

Same, but mine is in decent shape still, lol.

Haha you all can see exactly where my butt sits, previous owner had a dog... So the seats have places where they were scratched but a car dealer was telling me about someone who dies the scratches back to the color they should be. The drivers seat is the worst in the car but all the rest are good. They have some fading of the color but that's it. The back seat is in near perfect condition and way more comfortable than the front seat. I don't think anyone ever sat in the back seat.

My 95 Legacy had factory leather. The car had over 200,000 miles on it and the leather still was in great shape. Was cold as hell in the winters though.

Here's what mine look like. It's not smooth like leather though. It has a slightly rough almost plastic like feeling and it's shiny (which I'm sure is in part due to armorall). I'm not sure if it had seat covers on it it's whole life or what but it does not look like any of your leathers. The stitching pattern is the same but it looks different. Any ideas?

My front seats are the way you're describing yours but my back seat is softer to the touch. Idk it is weird.

Your back seats look like a flat bench. Mine are like the fronts where your butt falls in. It might just be the picture though.

It looks like a bench seat to me. There are no bolsters on the side seats.

It is also high up. I'm not sure if it's like this in all wagons but I am 6'2 and if I sit back there my head is VERY close to touching the headliner.

My head comes very close to hitting the headliner in my car. I'm 6' and I've got maybe an inch, that is in the front seat and the back I'm even closer to the headliner. But you know.. That is sort of a given if you are tall and you own a car.

If anyone has a wagon with the black/dark grey leather in good shape, like the OP's, and wants to swap for mint condition cloth, let me know, i'll gladly accomidate!

I found some really good conditioner at Wallymart. It was being closed out...not many cars with leather around here I guess. Anyway, its Blue Magic cream conditioner. I thought it was some cheapo crap,but it turned out to work very well. Surprised me how nice and soft it made the seats.
