Recently on PC:
Fallout3: very, very good, but lacked the charm of Fallout 2. Felt like a grind at times.
Sins of a Solar Empire: Masters of Orion 2 is one of my favorite games so was expecting lots from this one, but it just didn't hold my interest. Maybe I'm getting old...
Mass Effect: best game I've played in a while. Basically hooked up a colostomy bag, put on a tendonitius brace and hit this hard for 3 days straight and finsihed it.
Not perfect by any means, plus it crashed to desktop every hour or so. But it was worth it.
Company of Heroes: Still playing this, multiplayer with a buddy. We get crushed every time, but it's very deep and fun gameplay.
Recently on the Xbox360:
Left4Dead: had 4 friends; we bought it and played together. Once we saw all the levels we left it for dead and went back to COD5. No staying power...
Call of Duty 5: the singleplayer campaign is a joke (storming the reichstag never gets old, though) but the multiplayer is strangely addictive. I suck at it, but keep going back for some reason. Would be much better on a PC but all my damned friends have xboxes.
FableII: Good game, enjoyed it but felt a little underwhelmed by the experience.
Hells Highway: I love my WW2 games, but this one was very disappointing. Canned AI. Actually, no AI. You run around the artificial cover shooting guys defending static positions. Wash rinse and repeat a hundred times until the game is over.

It's a great game for the 360. I recommend it to any gamer looking for something new.
I mostly play FPS only on my PC(a controler is no match for a mouse and keyboard) and play everything else on my 360.
I PC I still play:
Team Fortress 2: stil one of my fav team based multi players. I still play daily.
battlefield(2,2142) Great game with alot of players
COD4 good but, alittle overrated. I get too much of the feel that I'm on rails and being forced to go somewhere.
Track mania a fun arcadey racing game that may overlooked. That is really much deeper the more you play. You won't win buy just flooring it. You really have to think.
Quake wars I really hate it and wish I never bought it.
Anyone got any good team based multiplayers to recommend. I just got ATI 4870 1gb VDO card and I want to work it out. Is Crysis any good? I know it looks good but how is the mutiplayer game play?
On 360
Mirror's edge a really great game
Pure alot like the old game MotorCross madness. pretty good
Lego star Wars with the kids and they love it
Forza2 great sim and I'm really thinking about getting GRID. Has anyone tried GRID?

Bargain goldie oldies fr the pc,,plus they are great in single player mode, I'm not into online play.
Call of Duty 4
The original Far Cry,,(Far Cry 2 stinks I'm told)
Crysis
Crysis Warhead
Bioshock
Half Life ,The Orange Box
Fear(both versions)
All are excellent FPSs and can be had at around $20 a pop.
Just make sure when buying games that you have a graphics card that can handle them.I have a Nvidia Ge Force 8800gt that plays them all well and can be had at bargain prices now.

I used to hate online play but once you try it you kind of get hooked. My main mod computer just recently died and I don't have the money to fix it, I'm a little upset.

I got my replacement disc from Microsoft (my first disc was scratched during the last RRoD incident). I expected the game to run fine after getting my Xbox back from repair, but NO, it does not. It freezes every 5 to 20 minutes. I want so badly to like this game, but at this point it's nigh unplayable. Within 1 hour of gamplay last night it crashed 7 times! None of my other games freeze, just Fable 2 does. I simply can't believe that Lionhead Studios let this game out the door with this problem, did they not QA test it at all? Un-friggin'-believable

it seems there are random problems like that for some ppl with fable 2.
my copy works fine and did not have most of the glitches mentioned, except one where u are suppose to rescue your son/daughter from the troll cave but it would glitch and she would stay down in the cave when you go up the exit (which is a load screen)

Any PSP fans out there?? Got the GoW version (which was an awesome game); took some time off, playing the PS2 and Wii. Now that my wife has stolen the TV with her Wii Fit; I've had more time to get back into it. Most recently Ratchet, MoH: Heroes, and now Daxter. Its an awesome little machine.

Any recommendations for party style games for the Wii? I only have mario kart and wii sports. Would love to add something like wii sports.
I was going to go pick up midnight club for the PS3 and would love some more details on it.
Playing NHL 09 right now and can't put it down. For a sports hockey game, this thing is awesome and totally different from the older titles.

I believe Raving Rabbids is supposed to be a Party game, can't think of anything else off the top of my head; maybe Madden or Mario Super Sluggers. I think there is also a Mario fight/battle game, cant remember what its called; but it has all the classic Nintendo characters in a street fighter type battle.
Is that NHL game for Wii or PS3? I was thinking of getting it for the Wii, seems like it would be neat as its more involved.
EDIT: Super Smash Bros Brawl

The only game I play now is Richard Burns Rally. Nothing has come close to replacing it.
