86bratman
The tgv position sensors and 02-05 wrx tps are identical. The link looks to be identical to the sensors I pulled off my tgvs when I deleted them.
ChubRock
Just looking for confirmation here. None of the photos of this TPS / TGV sensor have an underside image. Are we sure these will work in the 2007 engine? I ask because when working on the TB last week, I noticed that this particular piece had a nipple extending down from the middle. As I put everything back together, that nipple fell off of mine and lodged itself in the hole it sits in atop the TB. Not surprisingly I am having a delay issues from Reverse to Drive and from a complete stop to start.
Max Capacity
I think I referenced the link from where I got that info in the sticky, See if you can contact them. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. ChubRock
Contact the auto parts warehouse? I'm not sure they'd be able to tell me compatibility would they. I am about to run out for lunch, I'll call my mechanic and ask him if he can explain perhaps why the stock TPS had a nipple and this one (which a few of the members here have claimed worked) also works. Again thank you for leading me here. Also to a place that doesn't sell a TPS for $220! looking at you Pep Boys.
ChubRock
So here is the sensor I'm looking for, circled in Red http://imgur.com/tqJ5SP7.jpg Here is why I believe it to be faulty. Circled in Red is the location where it sits, and where the "nipple" used to be. http://i.imgur.com/HdFnmit.jpg I cannot for the life of me find a part just like this for the 2007 Legacy 2.5i Limited Engine.
