esbee Posted January 26, 2009 Share Posted January 26, 2009 About a month ago, I was driving home from a trip when I noticed the lights on my stereo and climate controls flashing. The stereo would keep playing, but the lights would go blank. I've never had this happen when I am playing the radio. Also, I am not 100% sure, but it seems to only happen with burned CD's. ThatVAguy Posted December 2, 2011 Share Posted December 2, 2011 This is a well documented problem with the LGT stereos. The toshiba board that powers the displays are bad. Now I can't say for sure but I found a post about the dimmer wheel, it said to scroll up and down to clean the contacts on the back. I did this last night when I went back to my car and it stopped happening. Didn't happen on the way home and when I went out later that night. Again this morning everything is fine.
