It doesn't do you any other good.
johnAWD
Something to fill in that other cutout in the rear bumper facia would be nice.... Just say no.
frostbite3360
^^ Again. For the looks. Nobody even notices theres another cutout when you take the heat shield and everything else out. Plus it sounds 10x better imo.
RdiggA
have two cutouts and only filling one is like having a dent only you know about. It would drive me crazy. And i bought a LGT cause i liked the dual not to change it to single.
frostbite3360
Don't knock it till you try it is all I'm saying. One guy comes on here asking about going to single exhaust and all he gets is people saying don't do it. And the thing is everyone whos telling him not to do it have dual exhaust. Nobodys speaking from actual experience. And in my actual experience, I love having single exhaust and would do it over again in a minute.

gotsugg
I posted this earlier today http://www.legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=109006 I am looking for something to help mellow out my customer CBE. I'm very interested in knowing/hearing the sound of a single exhaust. Please post a sound clip.
trademark
Do you have a sound clip for reference? I was curious what a quality single would sound like (if there's any difference). I'm guessing any WRX sound clip would be a good estimate....
frostbite3360
I'll post a clip here later today. The only one I got on my computer is really old and bad recording.
frostbite3360
Here's some sound clips. Keep in mind, this is a 2.5i and the exhaust is custom. I also have a Borla UEL Header on there and high flow-catalytic converter. http://www.mediafire.com/?yjmkiwmmx5j ^^ That is with my phone directly under the exhaust. http://www.mediafire.com/?dm1qzj2mjml ^^ A few feet away now. http://www.mediafire.com/?zz5zojzmity ^^ You'll need to listen hard on this one. You can hear me at WOT for 1st gear. Had to record from inside of course. http://www.mediafire.com/?imn4zziyzz2 ^^ Standing still while inside my car. Hope this gives you a better idea.
