Then again I have no idea how it compares to the aftermarket versions since there is no way to try them all out and decide. I do know that compared to stock the STS is *much* better. I have the Cobb, and Bushings, awesome tight short through (after adjusting a few times - benifit of a double adjustable) Def dive in and get on. mkaresh Posted May 31, 2005 Share Posted May 31, 2005 I've driven the factory STS a couple of times and been very impressed. Much smoother than the aftermarket kit I installed in my Protege5. But I have no idea how smooth aftermarket kits are in the Legacy. Just something you should definitely investigate. The factory unit's $339 MSRP is very high. But keep in mind that you should be able to get it for close to the much more reasonable invoice cost of $221. The dealer's already making money on the car.
