jdanhires Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Ok, I noticed something a little disturbing today on my LGT. Car has 2389 miles on it, and the frickin' seat belt webbing is starting to fray already! Of course, it's from rubbing on the zipper of my coat (I don't always zip up), but I wore the exact same coat for many years in other cars and never had a problem with the fraying. The fraying isn't bad (I was able to remove it with one of those sweater de-fuzzers), but still you'd think it would hold up a bit more. Ok, just had to vent a little bit there.... agctr Posted January 31, 2005 Share Posted January 31, 2005 Not good at all John, as the belt is material it will most certainly wear, maybe if you put a protector over that part of the belt, the problem should disappear.
