Rim Questions

I am currently running 17x7 from an 08 legacy but i would like to upgrade. The current plan is to get the Sparco pro corsa, and I would like to get them in the 18x8 size with a 45mm offset. I am not sure that would fit because I am running pink STI springs in the car currently. Can anybody help?

Great looking wheel, just a little too heavy for my taste. I think 18x8 +45 is a common-ish size for us.

Honestly depends on size of tire you want to run. The rim size is fine .

That size and offset should not be a problem with 225/40/18 or 215's... 215's will look slightly stretch on 8" wheel.

 

235/40/18 will likely require a rear fender roll.

 

245's may require more work e.g. camber, aggressive roll, pulling, etc.

Even with it being lowered with the STI pink springs it will fit?

I have 225/45/18 on a set of 18x8 45mm spec wheels. Lowered on Swift Wagon springs, which is more than the STI pinks. Nothing rubs. If I was to go wider at 235/40, it would rub in the rear, I think.

Yea , id suggest 235/40 or 45 the max. Anything above 45 and you may rub.

Why don't you be a helpful vendor and tell us what's wrong with the Sparco wheel the OP has interest in? Last time I check, Sparco was a very reputable brand.

Exactly. And Brian, you're a very knowledgeable and helpful forum member here, and I get that you have a business to run, but frankly your posts shilling stuff you sell in almost every thread vaguely related to buying new stuff are getting a little old:)
