doctorbrody
This is Primitive Racing's Rear Diff Skidplate for LGT/OBXT. It's designed for the 5MT rear diff with the drains on the back, but I modified it with a fahrenheit wrench to fit the 5EAT side drain diff. No clearance issues with my 3" exhaust. Thanks to Paul Eklund for making me the yoke to secure the front of the plate. http://www.get-primitive.com/ http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/6-2.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/7-2.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/8-2.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/9-1.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/10-1.jpg http://i143.photobucket.com/albums/r129/doctorbrody/11.jpg
Spoonwacker
Nice! Not having looked closely at my diff other than jacking the car up a few times, where does the 5eat diff drain? Can it be drained while the plate is on, or would you have to remove it first? It doesn't look like removing it would be particularly difficult, I'm just curious. sorry...this forum practically blows goat nuts so im not always on here.Team Pony Express POSTED FROM MY COMPUTER USING A WEB BROWSER

You can theoretically drain and fill it without removing the skidplate, but it might be easier to just pull it off. Takes 2 minutes to install. Jim_KT
^^^^ Not to thread-jack, but the rear differential drain and fill plugs are located on the passenger side on my 5EAT car. Back on topic: Looks good!
