subeseller
Have an 01 H6 Outback, has been clunking a little, now the rear U joint is the culprit. Of course can't just get the U joint, only sold as the whole drive shaft for around 560.00. Anyone have any tips, tricks, remedies? Have called a few driveline rebuilders all around the 300.00 price to rebuild it etc. Just need a u joint. Hope someone has some tips. Thanks!! Garandman
Post on ultimatesubaru.net or search there for rebuilt axles. Some are good, some are not. Who Dares Wins スバル
boxxerace
Is the U-joint a unique shape? If its a standard looking "cross" with round heads, you probably can get a match at your local Napa or bearing store. Take some measurements of the head and diameter of the u-joint and maybe we can find you one online. It simply stupid that you have to replace the whole unit. Photos?
